Application Procedure & Deadlines for Erasmus Exchange Students

Nominated to Ankara University (TR ANKARA01):

July 01, 2018 for the 2018-2019 Academic Year, Fall Semester

December 01, 2018 for the 2018-2019 Academic Year, Spring Semester

Each nominated student will receive an e-mail from us to login to our online application tool (app.erasmus.ankara.edu.tr). Once the online application has been completed, application will be forwarded to the related departmental coordinator for approval  and our office will issue and send the invitation letter for the approved applications.


The official beginning date of the fall semester is September 17th, 2018 and Orientation Day will be on September 21st, 2018.

The official beginning date  of the spring semester is February 11th, 2019 and Orientation Day will be on February 13th, 2019.

If you will attend a Turkish Language Courses before the beginning of semester, please inform EU Office about the expiry date of your visa and Residence Permit.

Application Documents:

1- Ankara University Erasmus Incoming Student Application Form (online)

2- Learning Agreement (if possible)

3- Transcript of Records in English from the sending institution (Your University)

4- 1 Passport size photo (Upload to the application form)

5- Passport copy (only the page with your personal information and you can skip this at the first stage and  upload it once you have it, later)

Applicants don’t have to send their application documents by regular post.

Please log in to “app.erasmus.ankara.edu.tr” and go to “My Studies Applications > Operations > Files” menu. This will take you to a page where you can upload all relevant documents. Choose the file type you want to upload (optional) and upload the scanned copies of your documents.


 

IMPORTANT !!

For some countries, applying to student visa is not compulsory. You can confirm this information from the web page of Turkish Consulate in your home country. If it’s still compulsory for your country, please don’t forget to apply for Student Visa from the Turkish Embassy/Consulate.

We strongly recommend you to have a health insurance from one of the companies located in Turkey, after your arrival. This will make it easier for you during residence permit application. Insurance policies from your home countries should be accredited from a branch of the same company, operating in Turkey (or by EU Office) after your arrival.

Please try to book your travel tickets according to the orientation days, in advance.
